Lead/Senior Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team at mustard | B Corp. As a key member of our architectural team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural projects, leading a team of technologists and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary in the range of £50,000-£60,000.

The successful candidate will have advanced skills in Revit and significant experience in stage 4 architectural projects. You will be working on large-scale residential and hotel schemes, so experience in these sectors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of architectural technologists to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the residential and hospitality sector
  • Utilize advanced skills in Revit to create detailed architectural drawings and documentation
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project designs
  • Conduct quality control checks on architectural drawings and documentation
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Degree in Architectural Technology with CIAT membership
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural technology, with a focus on stage 4 projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Day-to-Day:
  • Leading and coordinating the work of architectural technologists
  • Developing and refining architectural designs using Revit
  • Communicating and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members
  • Conducting quality control checks on architectural drawings and documentation
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
