Spalding Site Engineering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team at the Spalding site. The successful candidate will possess electrical and mechanical qualifications and have experience in breakdown and preventative maintenance.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your leadership skills to drive production targets and provide technical support. A salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum is available for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide technical feedback and analysis on daily issues.
  • Comply with GMP standards at all times.
  • Ensure the site is fully compliant with Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation.
  • Coordinate emergency activities such as Fire Alarms or Chemical spillages.

Requirements:

  • A formal engineering apprenticeship and relevant academic qualifications are essential for this role.
  • Proven hands-on mechanical and electrical experience is required.
  • Leadership skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm for achieving exceptional results, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working on steam boilers, compressors, and associated pipe work is necessary.
