About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner. This role will involve providing rehabilitation support to patients who have suffered a stroke or neurological condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of the Stroke Therapy Service, providing direct patient contact and carrying out assessments and treatments in a timely manner.
- Support qualified staff in prioritizing the clinical caseload, providing relevant information and taking on delegated tasks to ensure a team approach.
- Participate in clinical supervision, receiving regular access to qualified physiotherapists, informal feedback, training, and participation in the Trust appraisal process.

Requirements
- Sufficient experience working in acute care and rehabilitation settings to fulfill the job description.
- Established knowledge regarding types of stroke and/or neurological conditions.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level study.
