Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Older Adult Mental Health Liaison Team.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, treatment, and planning of care for individuals over 65 (or under 65 with a dementia diagnosis) across Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Rosewell House, and Woodend Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct robust assessments for patients and provide nursing diagnoses or mental health diagnoses following discussion with medical staff.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to integrate the Liaison Team within acute settings and work collaboratively with patients, support networks, medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
  • Support the ethos of delivering the right care to the right patient at the right time.

Requirements: Experience working in Older Adults Mental Health settings and knowledge of Functional and Organic psychiatric diagnoses and therapeutic interventions are advantageous. Autonomous working is essential.
