We are seeking a skilled Electrical Crane Technician to join our team at our Rotherham site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our electrical systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pre-planned maintenance tasks, including servicing, calibration, and modernization of cranes across multiple disciplines. You will also assist with reactive works, responding to electrical faults and issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-planned maintenance tasks, including servicing and calibration of electrical systems
  • Assist with reactive works, responding to electrical faults and issues
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems
  • Contribute to the modernization and overhaul of cranes across multiple disciplines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Electrical maintenance experience, with a strong understanding of electrical drawings and fault-finding techniquesA recognized electrical qualification, ideally HNC/Btec Level 4 or ONC/Level 3Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think methodically and pragmaticallyGood working safety practices, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
