Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available

Gap Personnel Gloucester is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for an ongoing temporary assignment in a Storage and Distribution centre. As a Counterbalance Forklift driver, your time will be split between both the yard and warehouse facilities, with duties including:

Main Duties:
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Stock replenishment into both yard and warehouse departments
  • Transport of products throughout the yard as per supervisor request
  • High picks
  • Working from pick and loading sheets and collecting picked items
  • Manual picking
  • Packing orders as and when needed
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Hourly Pay Rates:

Basic Rate: £14 per hour for candidates with no FLT licence, £12 per hour for candidates with FLT licence

OT paid at the same rate of £14 per hour or £12 per hour

Successful candidates will have experience working in a similar role and will be required to provide their Forklift certificate. As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with the company's health and safety policies.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team and contribute to the success of our client's Storage and Distribution centre.
