About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Team Manager to lead our Children's Support and Safeguarding teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to your team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Social Workers, Advanced Practitioners, and Newly Qualified Social Workers to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective team plans to meet objectives and ensure performance targets are achieved.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective multi-agency working.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders.
