At Fqps, we are looking for a skilled Insurance Claims Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us and take on a challenging role.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per year.

About the Role

This General Liability Insurance team is part of our firm's Insurance Group and has a well-established client base. We act for a number of market leading liability insurers in the provision of their employers, public and products liability services to insured businesses.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims arising out of these policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of EL and PL claims, including personal injury claims.
  • Deliver high quality and timely output to clients, ensuring high levels of client service and alignment with agreed working practices and client service level agreements.
  • Work to develop an environment of constant improvement: enthusiastically share with and help others; and take responsibility for aspects of team development, such as intranet pages, training and induction, process improvement etc.
  • Attend client events and/or travel, principally to London when required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience of managing a caseload of EL and PL claims, including personal injury and fast track litigation.
  • Candidates should have litigation experience;
  • A good knowledge of legal procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Able to work efficiently and commercially and understand the importance of financial hygiene.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
