As a lecturer or senior lecturer at The University of Law, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students across the university's course portfolio. This includes teaching written and oral skills, giving individual feedback, and assisting in the preparation of assignments and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students across various subjects assigned to you
  • Assist in the preparation of assignments and assessments
  • Participate in course design and review
  • Act as an academic coach to students
  • Assist in marketing, widening participation, and extra-curricular events
  • Supervise student dissertations and research projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree (any subject) or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified solicitor, qualified barrister, paralegal, or relevant academic/pedagogical/A Level teaching background
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE)
  • Flexibility to teach across different subjects
  • Excellent oral clarity, excellent written and presentation skills
  • Punctual, professional, and committed to teaching
  • Desirable: Teaching experience in a higher education setting
