About the Role
  • Assist the Nursing Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring seamless operations and effective management.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures, driving excellence in care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for residents, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and well-being, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deputise for the Nursing Home Manager in their absence, demonstrating leadership and responsibility.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN, possessing a strong foundation in nursing practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a nursing home environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Compassionate and kind towards others, with a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
