Path Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to work in a workshop-based environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and be able to diagnose and repair faults according to manufacturer specifications. They will also be responsible for assisting with roadside breakdowns and accurately completing service sheets.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide high-quality workmanship at all times.

This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus overtime. The role also includes 20 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays, and a day off for birthdays.

In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience working as an HGV mechanic or engineer, and hold a City and Guilds or NVQ minimum level 2 qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics/HGV. Experience in carrying out MOTs to VOSA standards and IRTEC Inspection accreditation would be advantageous.
