Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to articulate and communicate well
  • A few years of cyber SOC role experience or strong cyber security/computing degree or SANS certifications
  • Interest in cyber security and staying up to date with industry news
  • Technical understanding of firewalls and common phishing types (malware, credential phishing, BEC)
  • Understand malware alerts and the concept of an EDR tool
  • Understand the concept of SIEM and have used it if possible
