Role Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Product and Engineering team. This role bridges DevOps and Data Engineering, offering a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking.

This is a hybrid position that requires hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, data processing, and backend development. As a senior engineer, you'll have the opportunity to shape the execution, own the project, make informed decisions, and learn alongside a talented and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Bridge the backend development and data science/analytics teams by providing technical guidance and expertise.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets.
  3. Bring model prototypes into production, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  4. Maintain and renovate cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
  5. Integrate backend web services with databases/data warehouses, ensuring smooth data flow and optimal performance.
  6. Develop and manage data processing infrastructure, leveraging tools like GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

About You

We're looking for a Pi-shaped engineer with expertise in both DevOps and Data Infrastructure. Ideally, you have 6-10 years of experience in a similar capacity, with proficiency in tools like GCP, Terraform, Postgres, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Django, and React.
