Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Artisan Group Ltd. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high-quality standards of workmanship and ensure all electrical installations are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their customers, demonstrating respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Carry out all works in line with company procedures and industry standards, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and MCS requirements.
  • Repair and minor works as required for installation call backs or remedial works.
  • Attend to breakdowns and respond to urgent calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install all products and materials to the highest quality possible and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Manage own jobs and ensure fast resolution to client issues or faults.
  • Clear each job from the handheld device and back office system as they are completed.
  • Liaise with residents and clients as required about the works being undertaken.
  • Ensure all PPE is present and always correct.
  • Liaise with project managers and assist with maintaining QMS and company quality manual standards.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
  • Keep all appointments and inform clients and their tenants of works being undertaken.
  • Carry out duties as required by senior managers or staff representing such managers.
  • Stay up to date with all codes of practice involving your given discipline.
  • Report variations to works and update administration department of changes to requirements on site.
  • Engage and attend all staff briefings and company functions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Liaise with other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organizing mechanical works and building works on any given installation.
  • Produce certificates or job sheets for all work, any other reports or records required for the work.
  • Submit valid and accurate time sheets, delivery notes, expenses, and any other documentation weekly.

Requirements
  • General competence in the given trade.
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent in Electrical Systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • BPEC qualification or equivalent in installation of Solar PV preferred.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
  • Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on installation projects and maintenance contracts.
  • Experience of working with residents and clients directly.
  • A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
