Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of equipment issues, using mechanical and electrical skills
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled background, with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Engineering qualification, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • FMCG machine experience, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including days and nights
