Service Engineer Position

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Carrier as a Service Engineer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing plant equipment, particularly pumps, within our depot.
Working closely with our team, you will assist in loading and unloading pumps and generators onto delivery lorries using Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift Truck. You will also ensure that all equipment is serviced and maintained to a high standard.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of various types of pumps and contribute to the success of our company. We offer a competitive base salary of £35,000 per annum, plus additional call-out pay, and a fully equipped company VAN for commuting purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous mechanical experience or completed apprenticeship in the mechanical field
- NVQ3 or suitable Apprenticeship
- Knowledge of diesel engines
- Good working knowledge of EHSQ
- Time Management
- UK driving license
