Job Summary

This role involves working as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, promoting healthy lifestyles and addressing child welfare concerns within our communities. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to stimulate awareness of health needs, influence policies affecting health, and facilitate health-enhancing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, schools, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and address child welfare concerns.
  • Participate in multi-agency partnerships to drive positive change and improve outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to stimulate awareness of health needs, influence policies affecting health, and facilitate health-enhancing activities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current health issues related to children and families, as well as proficiency in frameworks such as the Healthy Child Programme (0-19) and the Children Act.
  • Evidence of research-based practice and continuing professional development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of government policies affecting living, culture, racism, and disability.
What We Offer
