About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at idverde UK. As a key member of our sports facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sports turf management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining sports pitches to professional standards through regular mowing, line marking, and pitch preparation.
  • Renovating and repairing sports turf surfaces, including scarification and aeration.
  • Controlling weeds and pests on sports fields.
  • Maintaining sports equipment and facilities, such as goalposts and nets.
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of sports events and tournaments.
  • Performing general grounds maintenance tasks as required, including litter picking and hedge trimming.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with previous sports turf experience and a Level 3 horticultural or sports qualification. PA1, PA2, and PA6 qualifications are desirable.
