Debt Recovery Specialist

Salary: Up to £14/hour (part-time, 16-20 hours per week)
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our client, a well-known Specialist Building Supplier. This is a part-time opportunity to work on a flexible basis.
The Key Responsibilities- Proactively collect and manage all debts to ensure timely payments.
- Administer and manage account limits to minimize excessive debt.
- Evaluate and review new credit requests and limits to ensure commercial viability.
- Monitor sales ledger accounts to identify areas for improvement.
- Check and process credit notes to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare statements and raise invoices and credit notes as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to efficiently collect debt.
- Resolve queries in a professional and timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar debt recovery role.
- Proficiency in using Accountancy Software, such as Sage.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
