Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of production lines, including manual handling, labeling, filling, packing, and quality control.
- Follow all Safe Systems of Work and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any near miss incidents, hazards, or defective equipment to the relevant authorities.
- Support investigations into accidents and near misses.
- Adhere to all Quality procedures to ensure high standards of quality and productivity.
- Report any faults in packed product to the Line Leader.
- Check products to ensure the right quality is packed.
- Check dates on incoming products for the Line Leaders.
- Ensure pallet layout is correct.
- Keep the line tidy to prevent foreign matter contamination.
- Follow personal hygiene rules, including hand washing and not taking loose items into the factory.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work at the required rate to achieve the line target.
- Keep accurate records of time and attendance.
- Work on your designated line area.
Requirements:
- Able to work to production targets.
- Knowledge of production targets for your line and support the line leader to deliver them.
- The ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- A conscientious and reliable nature.
