Instrumentation Control Automation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Control Automation Technician to join our Water Production Operations Team at Thames Water Utilities Limited. This is a varied role that involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of water production assets, including level instrumentation, flow meters, and TVMs turbidity monitors.
The successful candidate will have a strong practical understanding of operational assets and control systems, as well as a solid understanding of SCADA systems, relay logic, and PLCs, including management and programming. They will also have a valid driving licence and be able to work across several sites in the assigned region.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical advice, investigating asset failures, and implementing subsequent repairs to avoid interruptions to the water supply process. You will also be required to liaise with and supervise contractors and suppliers where necessary.

We offer a competitive salary up to £45,600 per annum, depending on skills and experience, as well as 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 days with the length of service, a contributory pension, and a range of other benefits.
