We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Epping Forest SCMHT. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the way in providing high-quality mental health services to patients in the West Epping area.

About the Role

As a Clinical Expert in Community Psychiatry, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, providing expert advice and guidance on mental health matters, and working closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently. They will also have a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The trust offers a generous relocation package up to £8,000 and recruitment and retention premia up to £15,000 (T&Cs apply).

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend regular MDT meetings to discuss and support ongoing patient care
  • Provide clinics to review patients via CPA process
  • Support clinically and supervise specialty doctors and trainee doctors
