Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile and clear balance sheet accounts, including VAT control accounts, to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Complete daily cash allocation and bank reconciliation for nominated clients, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of payments.
  • Input financial ledger corrections and transactions into the computerized General Ledger system, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA) timetables and procedures.
  • Provide financial information and support to internal and external stakeholders, including client organizations and external auditors.
  • Assist with the completion of client organizations' Annual Statutory Accounts, ensuring compliance with Department of Health requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education to Level 4 (e.g., AAT level 4, NVQ 4) or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with computerized financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply expertise and utilize technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with client organizations, external agencies, and the general public.
