About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our care homes, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all areas of the care home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including communal areas and resident rooms.
  • Use cleaning products effectively and follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
  • Use of cleaning equipment, such as carpet cleaners, is also desirable.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality, as well as safeguarding of vulnerable adults, is essential.
  • Health and safety in the workplace, including COSHH, is also essential.
Desirable Skills and Qualities
  • Well-organized with good time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with a friendly personality.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan around customer needs.
