Job Title: Flow Assurance Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Flow Assurance Team Lead to join our Process Engineering team at KBR Consulting International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Flow Assurance Team and contributing to several flow assurance projects at any given time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the KBR Consulting Flow Assurance Team
  • Contribute to several flow assurance projects at any given time
  • Deliver high-quality, accurate work within required deadlines
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction at project level
  • Ensure clear communication between KBR clients and between KBR inter-disciplines
  • Present work/results to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Act as Lead Flow Assurance Engineer on a range of upstream projects as required
  • Provide input to the development of proposals and CTRs
  • Train, develop & mentor the next generation of flow assurance engineers

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing a flow assurance department
  • Industry-recognised expert in the field of flow assurance
  • Proven experience with an operating company or technical consultancy
  • Experience on a range of flow assurance projects from Concept through to Detailed Design and Execute
  • A relevant number of years of hands-on experience in the field of flow assurance
  • Expert insight into the application of all industry-recognised flow assurance software
  • Experience in single and multiphase pipelines steady state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET
  • Minimum requirement is Chartered Engineer
  • Proven ability to plan and execute studies
  • Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills
  • Collaborative working approach and participation in cross-fertilisation of work between KBR departments
  • Extensive and thorough understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes and standards
  • Excellent computer skills, as well as oral/written presentation/report writing skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Operational experience would be a benefit but not essential
  • Flexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate workload peaks
  • Fluent English is a must; additional languages are a plus
