About the Role:

At Securitas Security Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our dynamic team in Filton, North Bristol.

This role offers an unbeatable work-life balance with weekday shifts, Monday to Friday, at £12.37ph.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing an effective security presence and proactive response service.

You will respond and deal with all site risk events in a timely manner, carry out fire prevention duties, and perform gate duties to ensure no unauthorized persons or vehicles enter the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing an effective security presence and proactive response service.
  • Responding and dealing with all site risk events in a timely manner.
  • Carrying out fire prevention duties, fire alarm and sprinkler activation.
  • Performing gate duties, ensuring no unauthorized persons or vehicles enter the site, inspecting site pass credentials, issuing passes, and conducting vehicle and personal searches.
  • Ensuring that activities are correctly recorded, reported, and documented as high-quality reports (verbal and/or written).
  • Undertaking any other duties as determined by the management team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong security presence, be proactive, self-motivated, and have great attention to detail.

You will need to hold a valid SIA license, have a 5-year checkable history, and pass a high level of security clearance.
