About the Role

A leading Cost Consultancy firm is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team at Streamline Search. Our client provides a range of services including cost management, contract administration, project programming, and health & safety across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Preparing accurate cost estimates and managing project budgets.
  • Contract Oversight: Leading contract administration, including valuations, progress claims, and variation management.
  • On-Site Assessments: Conducting regular site visits to monitor project progress, cost control, and financial accuracy.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinating project programming to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensuring health and safety compliance across multiple project sites.
  • Client Relationships: Developing strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders, providing expert advice and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Junior Development: Mentoring and guiding junior surveyors and assisting with their professional development.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualifications: A degree in quantity surveying or a related field and experience in a contracting or consultancy environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Client Focus: A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
