Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dining Services Assistant to join our team at Fairmont St. Andrews, one of Scotland's most iconic 5-star luxury hotels and resorts in the home of golf.

About the Role

As a Dining Services Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out all required duties within the stewarding department and related areas in accordance with standards set in the performance manual for the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist with the cleaning of operating equipment during banquet functions or at peak periods in back of house areas related to the outlets
  • To wash and polish all operating equipment and cooking utensils and examine cleanliness before distribution
  • To distribute cleaned equipment to appropriate locations
  • To clear all used operating equipment for washing in accordance with the systems in use
  • To place all cleaned items in the appropriate storage areas or distribute to various outlets
  • To assist in the preparation of operating equipment for functions, inventories and other requirements and distribute
  • To ensure standards with personal hygiene and grooming are consistently met
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential
  • Right to Work in the UK

Estimated Salary Range:

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
