Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing (potential temp to perm)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: £30-£35 per hour, paid weekly

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join a college in a temporary capacity, covering Monday to Friday. This role is expected to last for approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension or to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality GCSE & Functional Skills English lessons to students, ensuring all abilities are catered for.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an English Teacher, with a strong track record of successful teaching.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Availability to work Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
