About the Role
The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Plant and Tool division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our fleet of heavy equipment.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician who possesses a strong understanding of heavy plant machinery maintenance. You will be responsible for attending customer sites and breakdowns to identify and repair any faults or damage to our equipment, while accurately updating service records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Conduct site visits to identify and address equipment issues
- Update service records and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance
- Work effectively under pressure to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with the depot team to ensure efficient equipment maintenance
