We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychology Assistant to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychology Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in clinical-related administration, conducting audits, data quality work, teaching, and project work.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment and/or management of clients' problems under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist.
- Undertake protocol-based assessments of clients applying psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations, and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members, and others involved in the client's care.
- Prepare written and verbal information from psychological assessments for presentation at multidisciplinary meetings.
- Work with other staff in the application of psychological interventions.
- A single honours degree in Psychology (upper second class or higher).
- Paid experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist or alongside a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of conducting literature searches and reviews.
