Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is for a Hospital Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison located in South East London.

You will be working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in a busy pharmacy, delivering a high-quality service, assisting team supervision and providing advice on medicines management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service
  2. Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management service
  3. Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Salary and Benefits

The position is full-time, and you will receive an annual salary up to £57,750 depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
  • Relevant post-qualification experience

Absolutely essential is having a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, due to the nature of the role offers of employment being subject to additional vetting and security checks.
