Airworthiness Assurance Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Airworthiness Assurance Specialist to join our team at Gama Aviation LLC. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization maintains the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in airworthiness assurance and regulatory compliance, preferably within an aerospace organization. You will be conversant with current aerospace regulations, including Part 145 and 147, and able to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of the applicable regulation to a standard acceptable to the UK CAA and other authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputize for the Head of Compliance in their absence
- Maintain and control activities of the organization with regard to regulations and company legislative requirements
- Carry out internal and external audits as required by the Audit Program and make recommendations as necessary to the Head of Compliance
- Assist the Head of Compliance in the control of 3rd Party Sub Contractors for Part 145 and Part 21 activities
- Assist the Head of Compliance in continuation training needs for all engineering staff
Requirements
- Extensive experience within Compliance/Compliance Assurance, preferably in an aerospace organization engaged in aircraft or component maintenance and repair/modification
- Completed a recognized auditor's course
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to compile written reports to a high standard
