Actuarial Support Role at AXIS Capital

This is an exciting opportunity to join the AXIS Capital team as an Actuarial Support Specialist. As a key member of the Corporate Reserving team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the quarterly reserving process for the AXIS Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in producing the AXIS quarterly reserving estimates.
  • Support reserve meetings for the quarterly reserving process.
  • Develop new diagnostics tools and reports to improve the quarterly process and provide MI to colleagues across AXIS.
  • Perform additional project work including deep dives of specific lines of business.
  • Assist in the annual Planning exercise, liaising closely with Pricing and Risk Functions.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Support Specialist to join our team. You should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least five years of industry experience in reserving, pricing, or modelling roles. You should also be actively working to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or equivalent.
