We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of school support staff across Caerphilly. As a Welsh-speaking Educational Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of young people.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a positive impact in local schools. You will work closely with teachers to provide learning support to students, including one-on-one support and assisting in small groups.

Available Roles
  • Teaching Assistants (TAs): Work closely with teachers to provide learning support to students.
  • Learning Support Assistants (LSAs): Focus on providing additional help to students who require extra support.
  • Cover Supervisors: Step in to supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher.
  • Administrative Support Staff: Assist with school operations, handle phone inquiries, and manage school communications.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Welsh: Essential for working in Welsh-speaking or bilingual environments.
  • Relevant Experience or Transferable Skills: Experience in a school setting is beneficial, but skills from other fields are also highly valued.
  • A Positive, Supportive Attitude: We seek individuals who are patient, empathetic, and eager to make a difference.
