Job Title: Childcare Assistant - Level 2

As a Childcare Assistant - Level 2, you will be working with the Aspire Training Team to complete your Level 2 Childcare qualification at KingsWood Day Nursery in Alderholt. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in childcare and develop your skills in a supportive and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and engaging in different activities and encouraging children to participate.
  • Participating in forest walks.
  • Preparing and serving meals and aiding the children at meal times.
  • Supporting nursery staff with various duties throughout the day.
  • Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Providing a safe and enriching environment for the children.
  • Keeping up to date with coursework.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS and GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
  • A car park for staff is on site for candidates who are able to drive.

Qualities Required:

  • The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, and must enjoy the outdoors.
  • You will be a great team player with good communication skills which are necessary for this role.

Hours:

  • The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
