About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional service to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our care home.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be able to deliver an excellent service at each meal, make our residents feel at home, and understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home.
