Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Expert to join our team on an initial temporary basis. This is a rolling contract, where you would be required on-site from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. As a Recovery Expert, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with substance misuse issues and promoting their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist clients in identifying the best course of action for their recovery.
  2. Minimise the harm caused by drugs and alcohol to clients and the community.
  3. Act as an advocate for partnership services.
  4. Support service users with social reintegration, encouraging self-determination, resilience, and recovery.
  5. Facilitate group sessions to provide structured information at different phases of recovery.

Requirements:
  1. Possess a thorough awareness of substance misuse issues or previous experience working in a related field.
  2. Have a solid understanding of drug and alcohol services, interventions, and best practices.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to manage change while prioritising the interests of service users.
  4. Comply with information governance procedures and adhere to safety measures.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
