Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Breagh Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for advising on contractual matters, managing subcontract packages, and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Advise on contractual matters - general and project level
- Manage subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
- Undertake monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
- Report on budgets and variations
- Negotiate and agree subcontractors

**Requirements**

- 7+ years post-graduate experience with a Main Contractor / PQS / Developer
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
- Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor
- Residential construction experience or similar
- Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
