Product Proposition Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Proposition Manager to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing go-to-market strategies for our products in the UK and ROW.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to research and develop business cases for new product developments, analyzing competitive landscapes, opportunities, costs, and pricing strategies.
  • Act as the voice of the customer across the organization, ensuring that customer needs are met through strong value propositions and customer experiences.
  • Drive long-term product strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer usage, competitor products, and market trends, and translating that intelligence into product requirements for product enhancements and/or new product development.
  • Create and manage commercial partner strategies, including integration partners to enhance product capability and commercial partners open to selling health solutions through their existing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team and Marketing to develop product USPs and messaging that resonates with customers, new business targets, and market influencers.
  • Support the management of internal product launch activities to ensure that Sales, Pre-Sales, Consultancy, and Project Management teams understand the proposition, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Research competitor activity, market sizing, trends, and policy changes.
  • Price modeling.
  • Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to support the development of external product launch plans to support lead generation.
  • Develop content for Sales and Marketing campaigns, including presentation materials, product demonstration videos, newsletter content, blog articles, brochures, etc.
  • Support the production and approval of Software Release Bulletins, Information Bulletins, and internal briefings.
  • Assist the Sales team with bid responses, sales proposals, and quotations, as required.
  • Support the Sales team with ad-hoc queries, as required.
  • Support the management of NEC product roadmaps with Product Management teams and Product Catalogue.
  • Support the development of content on the Customer Portals.
  • Support the analysis of customer and sales activity to support business budget and investment planning.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar Product Marketing Focused role with the Health Sector.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, customers, and partner organizations, with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the IT sector, with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple, understandable, and relatable messages.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, working with minimal direction.
