Job Title: Financial Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Director to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including management, board members, and external auditors.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the organization, including cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial risk management.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background.
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102, experience managing complex consolidations, financial statements, and year-end processes, strong experience in corporate tax compliance, and advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial systems.
