Senior Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Tax Manager to join a leading chartered accountancy practice based in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable firm that has developed a strong reputation across the South and nationally.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, including experience in EIS and share schemes, mergers and acquisitions, and tax due diligence. They will also have the ability to oversee a personal tax portfolio and provide high-quality work on complex UK tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
- Help with mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and tax due diligence
- Prepare R&D tax relief claims
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Oversee and review the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervise more junior members of staff
- Opportunity to oversee a personal tax portfolio, encompassing compliance and IHT planning
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background
- Advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm of any size
- Background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm
