About the Opportunity

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced, efficient and motivated individual to join our Clinical Research team as an Administrative Support Manager for Clinical Research. The post available is on a part-time basis within the Adult Research Team, with additional hours becoming available in another team in the near future.

As an Administrative Support Manager for Clinical Research, you will provide administrative support and organisation for clinical research projects, assisting and liaising with other research project staff as appropriate. You will act as the first point of contact for specific research projects for enquiries from research participants and will support the general administrative functions of research projects.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working in an office/administration environment and excellent communication skills with a positive and flexible approach to the workload.

Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties

  • Provide administrative support and organisation for clinical research projects, assisting and liaising with other research project staff as appropriate.
  • Act as the first point of contact for specific research projects for enquiries from research participants and will support the general administrative functions of research projects.
  • Liaise with academic and clinical researchers, external organisations and other staff within the Trust and ensures that accurate data is recorded and correctly maintained related to research projects.
