A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team in Bromley, Kent. This exciting opportunity will involve working in an exceptional hospital setting, providing high-quality care to patients with addictions and psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to identify patients' occupational needs and develop effective interventions.
- Apply OT assessments and interventions, including 1-to-1 work with patients and leading group sessions.
- Support patients in engaging with the therapeutic program, working closely with psychology and nursing colleagues.
- Monitor patients' wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff and documenting as necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of clinical records and computerized information systems.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in inpatient mental health services or a similar role would be beneficial.
- Line management and supervisory experience is also desirable, although not essential.
- Experience in mental health and a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles.
- Ability to take on challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassion, enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive approach to patient care.
What We Offer:
- An excellent salary of £28,407 - £34,581 per annum, depending on experience.
- A permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
- Support from two Occupational Therapy Assistants.
