Quality & Environmental Control Engineer

We are a leading company in the precast concrete industry, seeking a Quality & Environmental Control Engineer to join our team at our factory in London Thamesport, Isle of Grain.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading firm in the design, manufacture, and assembly of precast, prestressed reinforced concrete structures for civil engineering and building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to implement and complete inspections on site.
  • Engage with stakeholders to agree on inspection regimes.
  • Ensure self-certification processes are implemented, and works comply with contract requirements.
  • Manage nonconformities and report major issues related to compliance.
  • Keep track of production records and quality record packages.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in a related field, such as civil engineering, mining engineering, or environmental science. At least 5 years of experience in the precast concrete and/or construction sector is required, with training and/or experience in quality management.

Fluent English (B2 or higher) is essential, as well as strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Availability for occasional travel is required.
