Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Omagh, Northern Ireland
Salary: £30-£32k per annum
Job Description:
We are partnering with a large Construction company in Omagh to find an experienced HR Advisor who will add value to their high-performing HR function.
The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager and be responsible for ensuring the provision of a high-quality Human Resources service for all employees.
About You:
You must have a Human Resources OR CIPD qualification (Level 5 minimum) and at least 2 years' experience in a generalist HR Officer, Advisor, or similar role in an industrial environment.
A driving licence is also required.
What You'll Do:
As an HR Advisor, you will advise and participate in investigation and disciplinary meetings as required.
You will assist with developing procedures and implementing guidelines for line management.
You will also assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
In addition, you will assist with onboarding and induction for new recruits, including managing documentation.
You will attend careers fairs at schools and universities.
You will coordinate all stages of recruitment, including updating job specifications, drafting/posting adverts, coordinating interview schedules, liaising with agencies, and booking meeting rooms.
You will coordinate occupational health appointments for employees.
You will cover payroll responsibilities as needed.
You will ensure compliance with HR policies, assisting in revising and implementing policies and procedures.
You will maintain and update HR databases for accurate and accessible information.
You will manage holidays and absences, providing advice and assistance to staff and management.
You will maintain and update records on the HR system, including updating entitlements for new recruits and generating reports.
You will participate in planning and delivering employee training as needed.
You will provide HR advice and guidance on routine queries across the company.
