The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dillington Mews, an autism-specific supported living service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to our tenants, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to 6 tenants, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each tenant's unique needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with families and significant others to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
Requirements
  • Highly reliable and motivated individual with a passion for supporting people with autism.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development, with a focus on enhancing your skills and knowledge in autism support.
