We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Des Johnston Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including air compressors and dryers.

You will also troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment, perform repairs based on diagnostics and assessment, and document all work performed daily using company-provided tools.

This role requires the ability to develop customer relationships, provide basic tools for the job, and respond to customer needs while working to satisfy their expectations.

The salary range for this position is approximately £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, minimum 25 days of annual leave, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment.
  • Document all work performed daily using company-provided tools.
  • Develop customer relationships and provide basic tools for the job.
  • Respond to customer needs and work to satisfy their expectations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification, or the ability to qualify by experience.
  • A full UK driving license with fewer than 4 points.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota.
