We're a textiles manufacturer in Manchester seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Demand Planning Manager. Our company is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to doing the right thing.

The Role: Inventory Optimization Lead

This key position reports directly to our Chief Operating Officer. Your mission is to lead our Demand Management team, ensuring our customers receive the products they need when they need them, while optimizing inventory levels and maximizing full-price sell-through.

You'll work closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, and Sales to develop in-depth knowledge of our customers, their unique requirements, and bespoke product demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8 to improve demand forecasting and drive business growth.
  • Ensure we maintain agility in a fast-paced, seasonal trading environment with short lead times.
  • Conduct a thorough review of our inventory management system to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate across the business to ensure effective communication, timely decision-making, and customer-centricity.
  • Balance customer needs with business needs, making informed decisions at pace.

Estimated Salary Range: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum
