Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Transport Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the regional transport function, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the regional transport facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement Health, Safety & Environment policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Schedule all regional fleet maintenance and ensure depot facility maintenance is completed as instructed.
  • Manage daily driver activities, including driver briefing and de-briefing, and administration of vehicle defect rectification.
  • Provide out-of-hours backup support as part of a roster and oversee driver compliance.
  • Act as a conduit between regional drivers and central functions, handling transport office calls and providing support with planning and administration functions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and possess strong planning skills and project management expertise.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining compliance.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to motivate and engage the team in understanding best practice and compliance.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team working environment and make effective use of resources to address priorities.
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of relevant regulatory, law, and compliance legislation.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CPC in Transport Management.
  • Level 3 supervisory Management (ILM or CMI).
  • Previous experience working within a liquid fuel distribution/transport operation.
